Ryan Rau (born July 30, 1990) is a former American football linebacker. He played college football at Portland State and went undrafted in 2012 before signing with the Philadelphia Eagles. In 2012 he spent most of the season on the Eagles’ practice squad, was promoted to the active roster in December, and made his NFL debut against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was released by the Eagles in 2013 and claimed by the Cleveland Browns, who released him soon after. He then signed with the Carolina Panthers in 2013 but was waived in August. Rau later had offseason stints with the Edmonton Eskimos (CFL) and the Miami Dolphins in 2014. His NFL career totals are 3 tackles.
