Kittisford
Kittisford is a small village in Somerset, England. It used to be its own civil parish, but since 1 April 1933 it has been part of the parish of Stawley. The village lies about 7 miles west of Taunton, and in 1931 the parish had a population of 92.
The parish Church of St Nicholas was built around 1500, with changes in the 17th century and a restoration in 1875. It is a Grade II* listed building and contains a monumental brass to Richard Bluett (d. 1524) and his wife Agnes Verney.
The Manor of Kittisford includes Kittisford Barton, a manor house dating from the late 15th or early 16th century. The area is also connected with Gerald Gardiner, who was made a life peer with the title Baron Gardiner of Kittisford.
