Rutka, Hajnówka County
Rutka is a village in north-eastern Poland. It is part of Gmina Dubicze Cerkiewne in Hajnówka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, close to the Belarus border. The village was established in 1568 when King Sigismund Augustus leased Kleszczele and its surrounding areas to Stanisław Czadzinski as part of a lease of six villages from the city of Bielsko. The other villages in the lease were Dubicze Cerkiewne, Grabowiec, Czechy Orlańskie, Jelonkę, and Suchowolce.
