Rhizanthes deceptor

Rhizanthes deceptor is a parasitic flowering plant that has no leaves, stems, roots, or photosynthesis of its own. It grows on the roots of the Tetrastigma vine. This species is found only in the tropical forests of Sumatra, at elevations around 500–700 meters. Its flowers are white with reddish-brown tips and measure about 20–27 cm across. It belongs to the family Rafflesiaceae, in the order Malpighiales.
