Ruth Eisemann-Schier (born November 8, 1942) is a Honduran woman who became the first woman to appear on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list. She was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, the daughter of Austrian-Jewish refugees. She studied at the National University of Mexico and later was a graduate student at the University of Miami's Institute of Marine Science when she met Gary Steven Krist.

In December 1968, Eisemann-Schier helped Krist plan and take part in a kidnapping-for-ransom in Decatur, Georgia, abducting Barbara Jane Mackle. Krist was arrested two days later, but Eisemann-Schier evaded police for 79 days before being captured in Norman, Oklahoma on March 5, 1969. She was extradited to Georgia, pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to seven years in prison. She served four years and was released on parole in 1973 on the condition that she be deported to Honduras.

Her case was later described in the book 83 Hours Till Dawn, and is discussed in Mistresses of Mayhem: The Book of Women Criminals.
