HMS Sparham

HMS Sparham was a Ham-class minesweeper of the Royal Navy. Ham-class ships were named after villages ending in -ham, and this one was named after Sparham in Norfolk. It was built by Vosper & Company, launched on 14 October 1954 and completed on 26 July 1955. It was transferred to France on 30 September 1955 and renamed Hibiscus, serving in the French Navy until it was stricken in 1986. Its pennant numbers were M2731 and IMS68.
