Liz Snyder
Elizabeth “Liz” Snyder (born October 1980, née Hodges) is an American Democratic politician and university professor. She served in the Alaska House of Representatives for the 27th district from January 20, 2021, to January 17, 2023. Snyder won the seat in 2020 by defeating Republican Lance Pruitt but did not run for re-election in 2022, and the seat was later taken by David Eastman. She lives in East Anchorage with her husband, Sam, and their two sons. She holds a BS and PhD from the University of Florida and an MPH from Emory University.
