Rubus exeter
Rubus exeter is a rare North American flowering plant in the rose family (Rosaceae). It has only been found in the north-central United States—Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Indiana. The genus Rubus is genetically complex, which makes it hard for scientists to decide which groups should be considered separate species; more research is needed to clarify its classification. The species was named Rubus exeter by L. H. Bailey in 1947. A synonym used in the past is Rubus exter.
