Taroom Airport
Taroom Airport (IATA: XTO, ICAO: YTAM) is a public airport near Taroom in Queensland, Australia. It is operated by the Banana Shire Council and sits about 786 ft (240 m) above sea level. The airport is located roughly 11 nautical miles (20 km) southeast of Taroom, at coordinates 25°48′07″S 149°54′48″E.
Taroom Airport has two runways: Runway 12/30 is 1,111 m (3,645 ft) long with a gravel surface, and Runway 08/26 is 1,091 m (3,579 ft) long with a clay surface. It mainly handles weekday charter flights to Brisbane and Chinchilla, operated by Skytrans using Dash 8-100 aircraft for QGC.
