Rose Keddell
Rose Elizabeth Keddell is a New Zealand field hockey player born on 31 January 1994 in Tauranga. She plays as a defender for Midlands and the New Zealand women's national team, the Black Sticks Women. She has been part of the national team since 2012 and has played more than 165 international matches, scoring 5 goals. Keddell made her international debut on 8 December 2012 against India in Napier.
Her career includes competing at the 2014 Women's Hockey World Cup and the 2014 Commonwealth Games. She won a gold medal with New Zealand at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast. She also won bronze at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore.
Keddell attended Bethlehem College in Tauranga. She is related to other Olympians—her first cousins are Mark Keddell, an Olympic sprinter, and Mahé Drysdale, an Olympic gold-medal rower. She also played in the 2020 Women's FIH Pro League.
