Rodney Esekia Iona (born 17 August 1991 in Melbourne) is a professional rugby union fly-half who plays for the Seattle Seawolves in Major League Rugby and represents Samoa internationally. He grew up in Melbourne and moved to Canberra to chase a rugby career, joining the Brumbies academy and the Tuggeranong Vikings. He helped Brumbies Sevens win the World Club Sevens Championship in 2013 and made his Super Rugby debut in 2014. His club journey includes the Brumbies, Canberra Vikings, Béziers in France, UE Santboiana in Spain, Jersey Reds in England, a return to the Brumbies in 2022, and NOLA Gold in 2023–2024, before joining Seattle Seawolves in 2025. He debuted for Samoa in 2018 and has 8 caps and 21 points. He is 1.77 m tall and weighs 89 kg.
