Central Volcanic Mountain Range Forest Reserve (Reserva Forestal Cordillera Volcánica Central) is a protected area in Costa Rica. It covers about 586 square kilometers (226 square miles) in the Central Volcanic Mountain Range. The reserve is classified as IUCN Category VI, allowing sustainable use of natural resources. It is managed by the National System of Conservation Areas (SINAC) within the Central Conservation Area. The reserve was established on June 26, 1975, by decree 4961-A. Its coordinates are approximately 10.137° N, 83.897° W.
