Marlston-cum-Lache
Marlston-cum-Lache is a village in Cheshire, England. It used to be a separate civil parish, but it is now part of the parishes of Dodleston and Eaton and Eccleston in the Cheshire West and Chester district. The population was 112 in 2001 and 166 in 2011. The village lies on the A483 road, the main route to Chester. Historically it was a township in the parish of St Mary-on-the-Hill, and in 1866 it became a separate civil parish. On 1 April 2015 the parish was abolished and merged with Dodleston, with part also joining Eaton and Eccleston. The 'cum' in its name means 'with' in Latin.
