Rincón is a barrio in the municipality of Gurabo, Puerto Rico. It covers about 5.44 square miles (14.1 square kilometers), with 5.33 square miles of land and 0.11 square miles of water. History: Rincón appears in old Spanish records. After the Spanish–American War of 1898, Puerto Rico was ceded to the United States. In 1899, the U.S. War Department census counted 1,155 people living in Rincón.
