Rincón is a barrio in the municipality of Gurabo, Puerto Rico. It covers about 5.44 square miles (14.1 square kilometers), with 5.33 square miles of land and 0.11 square miles of water. The area sits about 203 feet (62 meters) above sea level. In 2010, 10,967 people lived there. The ZIP code is 00778 and the time zone is Atlantic Standard Time (UTC-4). History: Rincón appears in old Spanish records. After the Spanish–American War of 1898, Puerto Rico was ceded to the United States. In 1899, the U.S. War Department census counted 1,155 people living in Rincón.
