Rhizoplaca polymorpha is a crustose lichen, a crusty organism formed by a partnership between a fungus and algae, in the family Lecanoraceae. It belongs to the genus Rhizoplaca. Its scientific classification is: Kingdom Fungi; Division Ascomycota; Class Lecanoromycetes; Order Lecanorales; Family Lecanoraceae; Genus Rhizoplaca; Species Rhizoplaca polymorpha.
