Malcolm Thomas (basketball, born 1988)
Malcolm Iseiah Thomas (born November 8, 1988) is an American professional basketball player. He is a 6-foot-9 power forward who plays for Sagesse SC in the Lebanese Basketball League (LBL) as of 2025.
Thomas played college basketball at Pepperdine, San Diego City College, and San Diego State, earning All-Mountain West Conference honors and helping SDSU reach the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2011. He went undrafted in 2011 and began his pro career overseas during the NBA lockout in Korea. Since then, he has played in the NBA, the D-League, and overseas for many teams, including the Spurs, Bulls, Jazz, Warriors, and 76ers, plus clubs in Israel, Russia, Turkey, Germany, Spain, and more. His career highlights include a Turkish Cup win in 2020 and a D-League All-Star selection in 2014. He has a daughter named Mikeala, born in 2009. In January 2025, he signed with Sagesse SC in Lebanon and continues his professional career.
