Petro Korol

Petro Kindratovych Korol (Ukrainian: Петро Король) was a Ukrainian weightlifter who competed for the Soviet Union. He was born on 2 January 1941 in Lviv and died on 2 July 2015. He won the gold medal in the men’s -67.5 kg weight class at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. Korol was a member of the Dynamo sports society.
