Reno, Minnesota
Reno is an unincorporated community in Crooked Creek Township, Houston County, Minnesota, United States. It sits on State Highway 26 between La Crescent and New Albin, Iowa, near the junction with Houston County Road 249. Clear Creek and Crooked Creek flow through Reno, and the nearby Mississippi River is close by. Nearby towns are Brownsville, Caledonia, and Eitzen. Reno had a post office from 1880 to 1935. The community is named after Jesse L. Reno, a Union officer who died in the Civil War at the Battle of South Mountain.
