Red River (Amal)
Red River (Cornish: Dowr Amal, meaning “boundary river”) is a river in Cornwall, southwest England. It is one of two rivers in Cornwall with this name. The river rises in the parish of Towednack, flows southeast through Ludgvan, then turns southwest and reaches Mount’s Bay, discharging into the sea to the west of Marazion. It is crossed by several minor roads and paths, as well as the B3311, the A30, the railway between Hayle and Penzance, and the A394.
