Zhengxu line
The Zhengxu line, also known as Line S1, is a rapid transit line of the Zhengzhou Metro that connects Zhengzhou and Xuchang in Henan Province, China. It runs from Chang’an Lu Bei in Zhengzhou to Xuchangdong in Xuchang and serves 26 stations over about 67 kilometers. The line uses two tracks and includes underground and elevated sections, with standard gauge rolling stock.
operated by a joint venture between Zhengzhou Metro Group Corporation and Henan Zhengxu Rail Transit Co., Ltd. The depots are Gangqu Bei and Meizhuang, and trains are 4-car Type B with a maximum speed of 120 km/h. The Zhengxu line opened for service on December 28, 2023. During planning, it was known as Line 17.
