Rani Ratnamala Devi
Rani Ratnamala Devi was an Indian politician who joined the Indian National Congress. She was elected to the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly from Chandrapur in Janjgir-Champa district as a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate. She and 11 other BJP MLAs left the party, formed a new group called the Chhattisgarh Vikas Party to dodge the anti-defection law, and joined the Indian National Congress the next day.
