Raleigh is a very small, unincorporated community and census-designated place in Grant County, North Dakota. It covers about 0.29 square miles, all land, and sits around 2,054 feet above sea level. In 2020, 14 people lived there (12 in 2010). The area uses the Mountain Time Zone and area code 701.

Raleigh began as a coal stop on a Milwaukee Road railroad line that ran from McLaughlin, South Dakota to New England, North Dakota. The post office opened on October 1, 1910, with Charles C. Leonard as postmaster after he moved his general store from nearby Dogtooth.

The name Raleigh honors Sir Walter Raleigh. It was settled by German-Russian immigrants who had previously lived near Strasburg in Emmons County. Raleigh was formerly part of Morton County but is now in Grant County.
