Las Leyendas Nunca Mueren
Las Leyendas Nunca Mueren is the third solo studio album by Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA. It was released on November 26, 2021, through Real Hasta la Muerte and Sony Music Latin. The album follows Emmanuel (2020) and the collaboration album Los Dioses (2021). It features appearances by Eladio Carrión, Mora, Myke Towers and Jhayco.
Development and background: In 2020, Anuel teased making an album focused on trap and shared a preview of a song called “300.” He announced the project in May 2021 on Instagram Live. His team said it would be released in July with mostly trap and only two reggaeton songs, but the release was delayed. The title was revealed in August 2021. In September 2021, Anuel posted a freestyle claiming the album was finished; one unreleased track samples “Ready or Not” by the Fugees.
Promotion: On November 18, 2021, Anuel announced the track listing during a basketball game between Capitanes de Arecibo and Mets de Guaynabo; the track names appeared on the players’ warm-up shirts.
Singles: The first single, “Dictadura,” was released on October 28, 2021. The second single, “Leyenda,” followed on November 11, 2021. The third and final single, “Súbelo,” featuring Myke Towers and Jhayco, was released on November 18, 2021.
