Rae Tod (born Ross Tod) was a Scottish rugby union player and administrator. He was born on 8 December 1913 in Edinburgh and died there on 3 August 1995. He played for Edinburgh Academicals, represented Edinburgh District, and played for the Barbarians; he also captained the Edinburgh Academical cricket club. Tod joined the Scottish Rugby Union (SRU) committee in 1956 and served as the 81st president from 1967 to 1968. He later served as president of the Edinburgh Academic rugby club and cricket club.

In World War II, Tod served in the Royal Scots and reached the rank of Major, fighting in North Africa and Italy. He led the victory parade in Edinburgh on returning home.

Professionally, Tod was a stockbroker who worked for John Robertson, which later merged with Bell Cowan and Co. He was chairman of the Edinburgh Stock Exchange (1968–1970) and of the Scottish Stock Exchange (1972–1973). In 1974 he joined the Edinburgh branch of Parsons & Company, which later became Allied Provincial Parsons Penney, and he retired in 1987.

Tod enjoyed golf and squash. He was the youngest son of Ross Tod; his brother Ben Ross Tod played cricket for Scotland. He married Jean Aitken, who played lacrosse for Edinburgh Satellites; his sister Barra Tod was a Scottish international tennis player. He and Jean had four children. His wife Muriel Shank Menzies died in June 1995.
