Radisson Blu Hotel Latvija
Radisson Blu Hotel Latvija is a tall hotel in Riga, Latvia, located at Elizabetes iela 55. Built between 1967 and 1979 and opened in 1978, it was known in the Soviet era as Hotel Latvija. The 95-meter tower has 27 floors and covers about 24,000 square meters, making it Latvia’s largest hotel and one of the country’s tallest buildings. The hotel underwent a major reconstruction in 2000–2001 and was expanded again from 2004 to 2006: a new six-story block was added with around 200 new rooms, a glass shopping arcade, and a large conference hall. Today it operates as the Radisson Blu Hotel Latvija.
