Qutbu'd-Din Shah
Qutbu'd-Din Shah Miri, commonly called Qutbu'd-Din Shah, was the sixth Sultan of Kashmir. He ruled the Kashmir Sultanate from 6 June 1373 to 24 August 1389. He belonged to the Shah Mir dynasty and was the son of Alau'd-Din Shah. He succeeded Shihabu'd-Din Shah and was followed by his son, Sikandar Shah. He ruled from Srinagar in the Kashmir region (now Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India). He was a Sunni Muslim and was born Hindal, meaning “The Conqueror of India.”
