Kashy Keegan, born Matthew Kashy Keegan on 18 July 1983 in Worthing, England, is a British singer-songwriter. He writes pop songs and sings, playing piano as well. He started piano lessons at seven and wrote his first song at ten. He was inspired by George Michael and Elton John, and he says his favorite album is Tracy Chapman for its meaningful lyrics.

Before his first major deal in 2014, he released two independent albums: Kashy Keegan and Looking In. He wrote "This Is My Dream" in 2007. The song gained attention after being used in 2012 as a motivational piece for the London Olympics and was discovered by a Hong Kong TV supervisor after Keegan uploaded it to ReverbNation. HKTV used it as the theme for a documentary series called The Challenge.

In 2013 Hong Kong TV’s bid for a broadcast license was rejected, sparking large protests. Keegan traveled to Hong Kong to support HKTV and performed "This Is My Dream" on 25 October 2013 before about 30,000 people. In 2014 he competed in MTV Asia Aloft Star in Beijing and finished second.

He moved to Hong Kong early in 2014 to focus on his music full-time. In May 2014 he signed with Evosound and released the album This Is My Dream on 1 December 2014. His fourth studio album, Inner Song, followed on 18 March 2016, with all songs written and produced by him.

In November 2016 he released a Mandarin version of "This Is My Dream" titled 堅守我的夢, under his Chinese name 祈家恆 through Evosound. A music video appeared on his VEVO channel, making him one of the first British artists to release an original song in Mandarin.
