Henry Pinkerton
Henry Pinkerton (7 May 1915 – 1986) was a Scottish footballer who played as an inside forward. Born in Glasgow, he started his senior career with Hull City (1934–35), making two league appearances and scoring one goal. He then moved to Port Vale (1935–36) for three league appearances. Pinkerton joined Burnley (1936–38) and made three league appearances, debuting on 26 September 1936 in a 0–0 draw with Swansea Town at Turf Moor. He later played for Falkirk (1938–1947) and Bo'ness United. In wartime football, he earned one cap for Scotland in 1939. After leaving professional football, he emigrated to Canada to work as a coach. He died in 1986 in Toronto, Ontario.
