Quinçay is a small town in western France. It is a commune in the Vienne department, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The area covers about 129.7 square kilometers. In 2023, around 2,139 people lived there, giving a population density of about 72 inhabitants per square kilometer.

The town sits between 82 and 146 meters above sea level. It is part of the Poitiers arrondissement and the Vouneuil-sous-Biard canton, within the Haut-Poitou intercommunal group. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Philippe Brault. The INSEE code is 86204 and the postal code is 86190. The time zone is CET (UTC+1) and CEST (UTC+2) in summer.
