Common Goal is the third album by American jazz group the String Trio of New York. It was recorded on November 12–13, 1981, and released in 1981 on the Italian label Black Saint. The album runs 41 minutes and 18 seconds and was produced by Giancarlo Barigozzi. In the band's discography, it follows Area Code 212 (1980) and precedes Rebirth of a Feeling (1982).
