Qu River (曲江) is a 208-kilometer-long river in Yunnan, China. It is a tributary of the Nanpan River, which is part of the Pearl River system. The river rises in southwestern Jiangchuan County and flows through Yuxi City, Eshan Yi Autonomous County, Tonghai County, Jianshui County, and Huaning County before joining the Nanpan River at Panxi Town in Huaning County. It drains about 3,472 square kilometers. In different places the river has different local names. The Mabozi Dam (马脖子电站) on the Qu River was built between 1977 and 1981. It is located in Tonghai County near the border with Jianshui County, close to the village Caozi in the Gaoda Dai and Yi Ethnic Township.
