Squads for the 2018 European Men's Handball Championship were announced for 24 national teams. Each team could name up to 28 players, with 16 eligible to play in a match. Lists were mostly released in December 2017 or January 2018, and several teams made changes in January due to injuries or other reasons. Throughout the tournament, rosters were updated as players were injured or recovered and as coaches adjusted plans. The event featured a range of head coaches, including Lino Červar for Croatia, Geir Sveinsson for Iceland, Didier Dinart/Guillaume Gille for France, and Kristian Andrésson for Sweden, among others.
