Predrag Savović
Predrag Savović (born 21 May 1976) is a Montenegrin‑Spanish former professional basketball player. A 6'6" shooting guard, he began his career in the former Yugoslavia with Partizan, Beovuk 721 and Zorka Šabac before moving to college in the United States at UAB (1997–1998) and the University of Hawaii (1999–2002).
Undrafted in 2002, he signed with the Denver Nuggets and played in the 2002–03 NBA season. He later played in Europe, including Spirou Charleroi in Belgium (where he won the Belgian League title in 2004) and Bilbao Basket in Spain’s ACB, until his retirement in 2009.
In college, Savović earned AP honorable mention All-American in 2002, was a two-time first-team All‑WAC (2001, 2002), and was the WAC tournament MVP in 2002 as Hawaii reached the NCAA tournament.
After retiring, he co-founded IBEXMONT in Montenegro and BADAIS INTERNATIONAL in London, and worked as a public speaker on teamwork. He later led Bilbao Basket as president (2010–2017), served as CEO of Basket Zaragoza 2002 (2017–2019), and CEO of CD Basket Bilbao Berri (2019–2021). In 2021 he joined Brydg Capital in London as a Business Development Manager. His younger brother, Boban Savović, is also a former player and coach.
