KPIN (101.1 FM), branded as K-Pine, is a country music radio station in Pinedale, Wyoming. It broadcasts on 101.1 MHz with a power of 4,000 watts and an antenna height of 145 meters. The station began broadcasting in 1996 and is owned by Robert R. Rule. KPIN serves nearly all of Sublette County and parts of northern Sweetwater County. Because Pinedale sits near the Wind River Range and FM signals are line-of-sight, reception can fade in the north as you move into the mountains, especially near White Pine Ski Resort. The transmitter is on a hill southwest of town, near other transmitters and KUWX 90.9 FM’s tower. For more information, visit kpinfm.com.
