All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship 1990

The 1990 championship was the 60th staging of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship, organized by the Gaelic Athletic Association. It ran from 12 May to 3 September and featured 15 teams. The defending champions were Offaly, but they were beaten by Wexford in the Leinster quarter-finals.

Kilkenny won the title, defeating Cork 1-09 to 0-09 in the final on 3 September. This was Kilkenny’s 14th All-Ireland minor title and their first since 1988. Kilkenny’s captain was James McDermott; Cork’s captain was Peter Smith.

Provincial champions were Cork (Munster), Kilkenny (Leinster), and Derry (Ulster). Connacht did not participate.

The championship's top scorer was Damien Fleming of Cork, who scored 7-27 in total.
