Potawatomi religion

Potawatomi religion is the traditional faith of the Potawatomi people. It is practiced in the northeastern part of North America, in communities in Canada and the United States. There is no single leader or formal church, and beliefs can vary among communities. The Potawatomi are part of a three-nation group called the Three Fires, together with the Odawa (Ottawa) and Ojibwe. Like other Native American religions, Potawatomi beliefs have changed over time as people and their environment and contacts with others shaped them.
