Porterville High School

Porterville High School is a public high school in Porterville, California. It opened in 1896 and is part of the Porterville Unified School District, serving grades 9–12. The school has about 2,136 students (2023–24) and around 84 full-time teachers. The principal is Jose Valdez, and the Panthers are the school’s sports teams. Over the years, the campus grew from a small building to a larger granite campus on Olive Street, adding facilities such as shops, a cafeteria, a gym, and a junior college in 1928, with more classrooms and programs added through the 1930s.
