Amiya Kumar Mallick
Amiya Kumar Mallick (born 14 November 1992) is an Indian track and field sprinter from Odisha. He mainly runs the 100 metres and 200 metres and holds India’s national record in the 100m with 10.26 seconds, set in 2016. His best in the 200m is 21.03 seconds, achieved in 2017.

- Born in Olansh, Cuttack district, Odisha, India.
- His father is a section officer in the education department in Bhubaneswar; his mother is a homemaker.
- As of 2016, he was pursuing an MBA at KIIT University in Bhubaneswar.
Career highlights
- 2006: Silver in the 100 metres at the Junior Asian Meet in Colombo.
- 2008: Bronze in the 200 metres at the Commonwealth Youth Games (21.33 seconds).
- 2011–2012: Suffered a quadricpes tendon injury (October 2011); bed-ridden for six months and returned to sprinting in December 2012.
- 2013: Won gold in the 200 metres at the National Open Athletics Championships in Ranchi with 21.22 seconds.
- 2014: Trained for four months in Jamaica under Glen Mills at Racers Track Club; training cost about ₹16 lakh funded by his father, the state association, and sponsors, which helped improve his technique.
- 2016: Set the Indian national record in the 100 metres (10.26 seconds) at the Federation Cup in New Delhi (he had 10.35 seconds in the heats; finished fourth in the final with 10.51 due to a hamstring strain).
- 2017: At the Asian Athletics Championships in Bhubaneswar, he was disqualified in the 100 metres semifinals for a false start; the 4×100 metres relay team was disqualified in the heats for a baton-exchange fault; he reached the 200 metres final with a personal best of 21.03 seconds.
- 2019: Won a silver medal in the 4×100 metres relay at the South Asian Games in Kathmandu.
