Polynoncus sallei
Polynoncus sallei is a species of hide beetle in the family Trogidae. It belongs to the animal kingdom, the arthropod phylum, the insect class, and the beetle order. It is part of the subfamily Omorginae and the genus Polynoncus. The species was described by Harold in 1872. Polynoncus sallei is found in Ecuador, Peru, and Madagascar, making it the only Polynoncus species known to live outside South America.
