Parvatibai (6 April 1734 – 23 September 1763) was the second wife of Sadashivrao Bhau and became part of the Peshwa family after her marriage, following the death of his first wife Umabai. She came from the Kolhatkar family of Pen and was a trusted confidante of Shahuji. Her niece Radhikabai was married to Vishwasrao.

When Sadashivrao led the Marathas to North India, Parvatibai accompanied him. On the journey to Panipat, she visited Mathura and Vrindavan with Nana Phadnavis and other Maratha women.

She was present at the final battle on 14 January 1761 (the Third Battle of Panipat) and was helped off the battlefield by loyal men. During her escape, she met Malhar Rao Holkar, who carried her safely to the south of the Chambal River.

Sadashivrao Bhau died in Panipat. Parvatibai remained a widow for the rest of her life, as she had promised her husband. She died in Pune from pneumonia in 1763, during the time of Madhavrao I. Some accounts mention that she was treated as a sati after her husband’s death. She was cremated in Pune, with funeral rites performed later in Pen, her hometown.
