Pleasant Valley Township, Cerro Gordo County, Iowa
Pleasant Valley Township is one of sixteen townships in Cerro Gordo County, Iowa, United States. It covers about 35.95 square miles (93.1 km2) of land with a tiny amount of water. The elevation is about 1,188 feet (362 meters). As of the 2000 census, 494 people lived there, with a density of about 14 people per square mile (5.3 per km2).
The township includes one incorporated town, Swaledale, and part of another town, Thornton, which lies mostly in Grimes Township to the west. There are two cemeteries: Pleasant Valley Township Cemetery and Richland Lutheran Cemetery.
