Plérin
Plérin is a coastal town in Brittany, in northwestern France. It’s in the Côtes-d’Armor department near Saint-Brieuc. The town covers about 128 square kilometers and has around 14,400 residents (2023). People from Plérin are called plérinais. Plérin has beaches along the coast and a mix of countryside and suburbs. A notable market here, the Marché du Porc Breton, sets pork prices used by retailers across France. Administratively, Plérin is part of the Saint-Brieuc arrondissement and the Plérin canton, within the Saint-Brieuc Armor intercommunality. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Ronan Kerdraon. The postal codes are 22187 and 22190. Elevation ranges from 0 to 143 meters.
