Stachys clingmanii
Stachys clingmanii, commonly known as Clingman's hedgenettle, is a North American mint-family plant. It grows as an upright, branching herb up to about 90 cm (3 ft) tall and blooms in summer, with flowers up to 1.5 cm (0.6 in) long. The species lives at high elevations in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and the Carolinas, with smaller populations in Illinois, Indiana, and Vermont. It is listed as imperiled overall and is a threatened species in Tennessee.
