Piperton is a small city in Fayette County, Tennessee. It was incorporated in 1974 and covers about 27.3 square miles, mostly land, sitting around 360 feet above sea level. The population was 2,263 in 2020, with 807 households and 652 families. The city’s area grew a lot between 2000 and 2010, increasing from 9.8 square miles to 27.3 square miles.

Piperton is in the southwest corner of Fayette County. It borders Collierville to the west, Rossville to the east, and Marshall County, Mississippi to the south.
