Philip Powell Calvert (January 29, 1871 – August 23, 1961) was an American entomologist who specialized in dragonflies (the order Odonata). He taught at the University of Pennsylvania and served as President of the American Entomological Society from 1900 to 1915. He was elected to the American Philosophical Society in 1918. His 1893 publication, Catalogue of the Odonata of the Vicinity of Philadelphia, with an Introduction to the Study of this Group, was the first major guide to the order and a model for regional insect studies.
