Phaeoura mexicanaria
Phaeoura mexicanaria is a moth in the Geometridae family. It was first described by Augustus Radcliffe Grote in 1883. This species is found in North America, including British Columbia, California, Texas, and Washington. The wingspan is about 40–50 mm. The larvae feed on pine trees (Pinus species). Over the years, it has been given a few different scientific names, but Phaeoura mexicanaria is the accepted one today.
