Here is a short list of Iowa’s covered bridges. Iowa has nine authentic covered bridges, though two halves of one bridge sit in different places. Six bridges are historic. An authentic bridge is defined by its construction using trusses, not by age; non-authentic bridges often use stringers. Coordinates can be downloaded.
