The Snoqualmie Valley Record is a weekly newspaper in King County, Washington. It serves the Snoqualmie Valley communities of North Bend, Snoqualmie, Preston, Fall City, Carnation, and Duvall.

History in brief: It began in 1913 as the North Bend Post, published by B. N. Kennedy. It later became the Snoqualmie Post. In 1923, printer George Astel started the Snoqualmie Valley Record and merged it with H. W. Rodman’s Snoqualmie Post, expanding its valley coverage. The paper was free to Valley readers and had about 1,500 copies in circulation.

Over the years the paper changed owners several times. Robert Sawyer bought it in 1928, followed by Dale Krebs in 1944. Charlotte and Ed Groshell bought the paper in 1949. In the mid-1960s Bob and Sandie Scott took over and operated Falls Printing Co. In 1996, the McKiernan family (Karen and Jim) bought the paper, and in 2000 it was sold to King County Journal Newspapers. Sound Publishing acquired the paper in 2006.

In 2020, the print edition was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the paper continued online.

Today the Snoqualmie Valley Record is a tabloid-format, English-language weekly published by Sound Publishing. Its headquarters are in Kirkland, Washington. The Friday print circulation was 667 in 2023. The paper’s website is valleyrecord.com, which also offers free online archives.
