Peltier Channel

Peltier Channel is a 6 nautical mile (11 km) long waterway that runs NE–SW between Doumer Island and Wiencke Island in the Palmer Archipelago, near the west side of the Antarctic Peninsula. It was discovered by the French Antarctic Expedition (1903–05) and named by Jean Charcot for French physicist Jean Peltier. The channel was first surveyed in March 2019 by HMS Protector.
