Darwen Library
Darwen Library is a Carnegie library in Darwen, Lancashire, England. It opened in 1908 on Knott Street after Andrew Carnegie donated £8,000 to build it, with the official opening in May 1908. The library still lends books to the local community. In its 100th year in 2008, it held several events in May, and in April 2008 local brewer Fallons Exquisite Ales announced a new beer dedicated to the library.
